So I spent the weekend at a music festival, and it was amazing! I saw loads of great local and out of state bands, including Spoon, Modest Mouse, and The Walkmen. Some advice for all of you concert goers: see Christopher the Conquered live if you can. He looks a little creepy at first, but his voice is amazing and he is so much fun. During the show I was at, he danced through the crowd, and later brought a big step ladder out to the middle and sang from the top. The crowd was going wild, and my friends and I were flailing along with the beat. (Flailing, yes. Cuz we can't dance.) Other good news: put off more weight, drew a lot more, and picked up three new CDs at the festival. (: Focusing on the awesome in this journal.
